My Background

Hello, my name is Majella and I am a professionally qualified Reflexologist, working on Face, Hands and Feet. I completed my training at the renowned London School of Reflexology which is situated at Regents University to achieve my Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology, and Healthy Eating and Wellbeing.

I am fully insured and a member of the Association of Reflexologists and abide by their Code of practice and ethics.

I am very passionate about how this natural therapy supports overall health and wellbeing. My aim is to support you in your wellbeing journey, so you feel seen and heard. I encourage you just to be still and sit with whatever emotions arise and experience a deeply relaxing treatment.

My journey began when I was diagnosed with PMOS/PCOS after one year of trying to conceive. I spent the next four years going from one medical profession to another only to become more frustrated as the years went by. I found this stage of my life very difficult mentally due to the lack of understanding, both emotionally and physically. I had also suffered for years with irregular periods and chronic back pain, so much so that I would end up in hospital not being able to walk or even stand up straight. No one investigated why this was happening, it was just put down to muscle spasm, I was either given a steroid injection or painkillers for my back problem. I was put on a course of medication to help me conceive. Mentally it was taking its toll on my body, so I decided that there would have to be another way.

I went home to Ireland on holidays and whilst there my back went again, so I decide to see a natural healer. I have always had great belief in the power of nature and holistic treatments through the early teachings of my mother and grandmother with herbal remedies. The healer worked on my back for about an hour. He said I should notice a change within 24hours. This man changed my life. From that moment to now I have never suffered from my back. It was all got to do with blockages within my body.

I had already stopped taking all the medication I was on to help conceive and decided that I would allow nature to take its course. Six months following this appointment I was pregnant with my first child. I was blessed with three healthy beautiful children, all grown up now.

As I travelled down life’s pathways I went through a very low patch, to which I turned to acupuncture. I received weekly treatments along with Chinese herbal medicine for approximately six months, then fortnightly for a remaining six months. This was then tailored down to one treatment a month for another six months and from here whenever I felt I required it. This therapist helped me so much. I have also tried kinesiology of which I found very beneficial. I have always found great healing benefits within holistic treatments, and I am always drawn to try out new therapies, hence, trying reflexology. It was after receiving foot reflexology to help with stress relief, from which I had such a positive experience, that a spark was lit within me.

So, I decided to take the leap of faith and start on my own journey and train to become a reflexologist. I am very excited to see where this journey leads me. I have started my own practice offering Reflexology and Health and Wellbeing in the sanctuary of my treatment room at my home but can also provide treatments in the comfort of your own space.

It is a gift to be able to help someone relax enough that they can switch off from this busy world we live in and just be in the moment and relax enough to fall asleep. Also, knowing that clients with long-standing health issues such as IBS, sleep disorders, stress and anxiety have seen significant reductions in symptoms after treatments gives me so much joy.
